Holding a Belief is a Crime? Say what!

Information is the key. All points of view must be considered before we land in better tomorrows. How does one go from being a hero (Airman United States Air Force) with a spotless record to an inmate and subject of this scorn?

Looking forward to Grand Forks and all your questions today. Is always interesting to consider options for better policing. I shivered at Ms Brays comment that the family had altered the crime scene but have to believe she was misinformed. That . . . my friends is the point. Improvements to our Justice System! That is why I hammer on with my brand of social fiction. To improve. To learn. To be better.

The claim that Jerimie Hicks is innocent is a crime in itself. I am from
Great Falls, and I remember this case well. Below I have included information
 from the trial.
A person who would shove a child into a wall hard enough to dent the wall is scum,
and deserves the prison sentence he got. Please do not allow this author, or the
criminals involved, to profit from this local tragedy.

"Hicks, who was alone in the house with Kaelyn when she sustained
severe injuries, claimed that he shoved her into the wall out of frustration,
but that she was fine after suffering minor injuries.
Hicks told police that later the girl fell down the stairs after
tripping on their puppy.
Emergency responders and doctors who later worked on Kaelyn
that day testified that they did not believe the girl's injuries were
consistent with a fall down the stairs."

The Pope Visited a Prison and so did I . . .

Format: Paperback
The information in and around this book is based on lies.
The hicks family, who Mr Rude holds so highly, wants nothing
more than for their sociopath son to be released. They have gone
to great lengths to help him including cleaning up the crime scene
of the three year old girl he murdered! everything that happens to
Jerimie Hicks and his sick family is deserved and does not come close
to equalling the brand of justice they deserve! Go back to drugs mr. RUDE,
at least those delusions are explainable.
There is no explanation for profiting from the murder of a child!
Shame on you Mr. Rude! Kaelyns momma.

I cannot and will not be drawn into an exchange with a mother who
lost her child. I admire you . . . Jessica . . . for signing your post.
So many are too fearful to stand behind their thoughts. I obviously
stand behind this story that has helped many since its release including
a young lady who was confronted by police in North Platte, Nebraska.
I was not aware of any diagnosis of sociopathic tendencies regarding
the Hicks family. I'm confused on the matter of cleaning up the
crime scene. Was the scene not protected by the investigating officers?
What brand of justice does the Hicks family deserve?
I recently was involved in a benefit for heroin addicts in an attempt
to be a part of the solution and would go back and do it again.
Profiting from the murder of a child? I want to understand it,
to consider all view points, in an effort to avoid another incident like this.
I want to highlight the sense of lose all felt including the
Hicks family, the Bray family, and to all touched by this
senseless tragedy.

The Pope went to a Prison, not to judge but to be compassionate.
I went to Great Falls to understand many different viewpoints
and am not sure of the 'holds so highly' comment.
To be sure, I am very sorry for your lose.

Amazon Reviews Run Amok!

As Austin Powers said . . . Oh Behave. My story regards the System
and not Kaelyn per say. I did attend the trial and sat with the 'wear pink'
supporters (who were acting against the wishes of the Judge).
Perhaps one must be open to new ideas so it is unfortunate you fear my story.
Remember what once was said by a wise man sometime ago . . .
Judge not Least be Judged. Agreed . . . Kaelyn is a victim to be sure.

I did not, nor will I, read this book. This man says he attended
the trial of Jerimie Hicks? Who he quotes on the back of the book?
If he did then he saw video testimony of Jerimie admitting he bashed
in a little girls head, and then put her in pajamas and left her upstairs
in her bed to die while he tried to clean the evidence.
To quote him and portray him as a victim completely sickens me...
Mr. Rude the real victim was Kaelyn Serene Bray... She was three...
And Jerimie showed his character when he hurt her, and left her
injured for hours. How dare you profit from my sisters heartbreak.

Some Where Texas

You're up . . . Time to finish that Novel. I'm guessing the statue is Sam Houston. This Great Couple came into my life because of Writing. She has pinned a story utilizing cats as characters. How cool is that?

PR Problem and I'm Not Talking about Whataburger

'We don't serve police': Why officers turned away from Whataburger

Two police officers say they were denied service at the popular southern fast-food chain in Lewisville, Texas because they work in law enforcement. Does this represent a growing sentiment against the police?

If I was a cop today I'd be really careful where I ordered a burger . . . ya never know what could be included with your purchase.

Back To The Truth

Saavedra summed up my intentions best . . . The truth may be stretched thin, but it never breaks, and it always surfaces above lies, as oil floats on water.

Question by way of email.

What no comments about black lives matters and we need to fry the cops in bacon?

This angst in my opinion is the direct result in a fall off of community based policing and the introduction of military tactics. Once different actions were caught on video and played out to the masses, man, the world swerved to where I said it was going to in previous posts going back, what, two years. We have come to the stunning realization that yes, cops ain't perfect hero fodder. The police are human . . . no ones perfect . . . thus the police aren't perfect. I pointed it out in my books. It is what it is and many thanks for the question.

Curt went over the Mountain to see what he could . . .

Well I climbed into the Rockies and bumped into this gal who runs the Houston Texans Charities. Real fun spirit doing big-time good for her community. That would be a JJ Watt signed cap by the way.

Flying a Kite with the Author of 'Skull Session'

Man it's plenty windy on the island of Vinylhaven in the north Atlantic. Dan Hecht was a talented guitarist until, as he told me, he hurt his hand. He headed to the University of Iowa and was schooled in the fine art of writing. He also can fly one mean kite. I mean he had the thing up 900 feet. No small feat. We are in the process of running a wish up the line. A wish for continued success of 'Brand of Justice'. Haven't read the book yet, Dan, but will, and let you know what I think.

Ashley Madison

Those of you who have read JusThis aren't really surprised are ya? I got a kick outta the bit of concern relating to the number of Minnesota Government Employees hanging out on the site. I mean . . . JusThis explained the Ashley Madison phenomenon look before it was in the Headlines and what the ramifications well be.

More than 36 million accounts have apparently been hacked and an estimated  15,000 were traced back to government and military e-mail addresses. One dozen accounts ended in “state.mn.us.” That doesn’t mean the addresses are legitimate.

Wasn't hard to see this coming. There're back!

Also wasn't a surprise to see what has been transpiring regarding Officer Bantle. Confederacy of Dunces in Action

While our Attention is on Foreign Wars
