Killer Apathy

The two punch killer for me is Apathy+Fear. I finally just walked and then Black Lives Matter and Kaepernick come along. They take action regardless of the consequence. Perhaps it is time to reignite this blog. There are some who choose to be heard. To stand against the 'not in my backyard' crowd.

Colin Kaepernick and The National Anthem

Hey man . . . he has the right given to him from the same guys who gave us the good ole' right to have guns. I share his angst as readers of this blog would know. But I'm thinking I couldn't do it. Watch Saving Private Ryan and then make your decsion.

Keeping Summer Vactions Sacred

Tough job but somebody has to do it. While the rest chase that relentless last dollar I chased something else entirely.
Riddle me this Batman . . . who let this Joker into the Olympic Village?

If I don''t see ya in the future I'll see ya in the pasture.

If someone told you to jump off a cliff would you? I did. Be back at it shortly. Odds and Sods must be tackled when and if I ever land in the studio. Leaving the country for a great adventure or at least I hope it ain't a miss-adventure. Middle East anyone?

Guns don't kill people . . .

How does the old saying go? Guns don't kill people . . . People do. Well I suppose that's so until a good person makes a mistake.

Hillary has Trumped the System

First the political system. Yeap it's rigged. Ya gotta hand it to Hillary she done got it done. Her esteemed colleague and friend The Donald ran against her. Yeah right. He's running for her folks. His actions have insured she's in and he is going to benefit to be sure.

Are you in JAIL as you have not posted to your blog in one whole month?

Nope. Not in jail. Been a spell. I've been embedded I guess ya could say. Climbed a mountain. Hung out with the military and Arabs and am headed for Vancouver. Have new insights. Book is in the works that will make Trump seem lame.

My Apologies

Going to be on a Climb in The Rockies. Please forgive my absence. Will be back hopefully. This just in from Dallas.“The suspect said he was upset at white people. The suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers,” Brown said. “The suspect said he was upset about Black Lives Matter. He said he was upset about the recent police shootings.” Man talk about the police having a public relations disaster on their hands.

Well said Mike Adams in your reply yesterday. I do believe all lives matter and a certain degree of 'blame' rests on all sides.

Death and Mayhem

Was in the Cities yesterday just before the latest police shooting. Since when has paranoia trumped respect for life?

Discussions with Don

Did you die as you have not posted to your blog?

Been AWOL but planning on getting after it.

Discussions with Don went like this. He owned three farms and had a life including being married and building and flying aerobatic aircrafts. Found out his wife was cheating on him with his best friend so he lost it and smashed the guy in the face with a pipe. He lost most of his teeth, sued Don and won 350 thousand ending Don's life. What do you folks think of that?

Got this message. Love the idea of creativity and remember me in my soon to be dire condition if ya win the lottery.

I have been mixed on what to write on. I would come up with a topic and then couldn't go anywhere with it. I finally have it. You know Austin. Plenty of material here. It looks like you moved? Good for you. I'm hoping for a lottery ticket or maybe this book might do it. Take care.

Went through a Drive-up the Wrong Way!

Wondering what would happen if ya take it upon yourself to do something completely backward. You get dressed down in short order. In North Dakota tomorrow and then it's Pagosia Springs.

JB for Governor?

So I crawl back into town late. I got this jury thing to contend with. Serve or be persecuted. As some of ya know, I've been on the jury like forever but nothing ever goes to trial. It's the old plea bargain thing to the max and is that good for justice? How many are encouraged to not stand up for truth and justice and the American way if they can get a good deal? Scary times for this flag loving land of gun toting 'America is always' right nut jobs. Anyways, I end up in front of a cold beer after drifting from educator party to teacher get together. I'm like revered by 'em for reasons I'll explain later.

Then JB lands next to me on a stool and off we go. This first in the interest of full disclosure. I said it was imparative he purchase a round if he wants to be taken seriously and he did. I'm not talking no Texas bottle tossing Roundhouse here either. I'm at Torges. So what transpires? My 360 look at things. More on this later.

I spilt the Pot of Truth

Curt, my boyfriend broke up with me because he can't think of one reason to love me for. What's up with that? I'm a California Girl after all.

Be glad you 'boyfriend' done dished up the truth. Believe in yourself my friend. Some consider me a delusional opiate user while others got me figured as the spiller of the pot of truth. I alone decide how I am going to live and you can to. Go for it. You ain't getting any younger.

Well, a picture is worth a thousand words and thus I've recently scored a quick snap camera.

I am very happy to visit your site and i did like it. I was able to get some informative topics. keep it up and you can also visit my site for your reference. Thank you and have a good day.
I well visit your site and many thanks for the words. You want me to post your site on this blog?

My guess you will be on a jury because you are a world famous author and they are really stupid to call you for jury duty.

I hope they pick you for some of the drug dudes that ask for a jury trial. I hope they make you the foremen too.

Go get them my friend and be sure to write a book about you experience as a jury foremen.

And no worries about the free book as I will pay for one just like I did for the other 2 books that you still have not signed.

In town and I wait for a meeting with you.
Me a jury foreman? Have to see it to believe it. By the way my appearance was cancelled today so there ya go. Been in this jury pool for a month now and oh for the love of plea bargains, I have not had to go to the Courthouse of Enormous Egos once.

love your life. started following ya on twitter. you on top of this thing called life. live well my friend. u deserve it111
Many thanks to the 1's.

Bill O'Reilly calls out a Prosecutor and I'm on her next jury-not!

Whitewater Rafting in Colorado to standing under a tornado on the west side of Fargo. Man what a life. Now my dear friends it looks like I am to fulfill my duty because I have been tossed into a jury pool. I suppose some consider me as on the good side while others are convinced I am a low down scoundrel. Tomorrow we shall see just which side tosses me off their beloved jury. The prosecutor of Bill O'Reilly infamy or the defense who'll be scratching their heads regarding my looooong police career. Courtrooms are an ugly business but someone has to do it. Guess away and post a comment as to just how long it'll take the players to release me from my sacred duty. Be first and closest to how long I'm in the courtroom and I'll get ya a copy of my current book currently under edits.

Yeap . . . still stunned and seething, but hey, lifes too short to get upset.

Went to the Zurciles

Stood at the foot of my mountain but snow was waist deep. Have to wait on the climb as was expected. Did the next best thing with all the snow run-off and got in to afternoon whitewater rafting. Had one guy land in the drink and a lady got smoked by a huge wave and was dumped on the floor of the raft.

Bummer of a side not . . . Debra Brymer was killed the day after my rafting experiance. She was from Nashua Iowa. Not far from Pig Town.

Disturbing?

If this doesn't disturb you nothing will . . .

Dear Curt,

My brother has been locked up for 14 years without ever being charged with a crime.

His name is Mohamedou Ould Slahi. He has been detained in Guantánamo Bay Prison by the U.S. government since August 2002. My name is Yahdih. I’m calling for his release – and I urgently need your help.

They don't have ya in our library in Sioux Falls. What's with that?

Many libraries in Minnesota have it and some in Colorado I believe. Can't speak for Sioux Falls but I can say we all need to beware of Criminal Justice Reform.

"Why would anyone ever admit doing a terrible crime they didn't do?" Gross said. "The first thing to note is the risk false confessions goes up rapidly when the suspects are either juveniles or mentally handicapped or both."

Consider this fact. Dub was a young man in Brand of Justice and had many things to consider while being hammered by the police. We always teach our kids to respect authority and go along with it. A parent pointed this out to me after their son had been arrested. Think about that parents, when you send your son or daughter onto the streets thinking 'he'll / she'll never do anything wrong' before they are getting slapped around hard by the system.

It is impossible to read your last post because your book icons are blocking the text.

Come on get real and pay attention to details.
Still Flapping after all these years

Perhaps, just perhaps it was intentional.

Pain leads to Bad Reviews

I picked up Brand of Justice after reading the reviews. Loving it so far. If Montana reviewers had any sense they would read then review!!!

There are deeper issues involved here such as the lose of a loved one I suspect. Some of the reviewers indicate they are opposed to Jerimie Hicks being granted any consideration what-so-ever. He is to be despised to the end of time. I prefer a 360 Consideration including Jerimie and his wonderful family. If I was to back down on subject material under sonsideration for my stories they would be in affect censored. This is not the way towards the path of truthfulness.

Actually 'Brand of Justice' is a work of fiction!

"Cops having a Hard Days Night.":
Just left previous post but wnated you to know I loved JusThis. Slow start but boy did it pick up. I got it out of the library and loved it. My library doesn't have a copy of Brand of Justice but I'm going to pick one up. Thanks for the stories!

Can I just open with saying I haven't read the book yet, but not for lack of not wanting too. But when I first met Curt and he and I talked, tragedy hadn't struck my life and I haven't had the focus to read it yet. But I'm so honored that I met Curt, I can't wait till my life is back in a place of wholeness so I can read the book and give my honest review. Curt offered to send me a copy of his first book, but again, I had a tragedy in my life and turned away from the cyberworld for a while. So Curt if you happen to read this review, Remember ME, Barbara, The girl that wants to give you a Rude Awakening, lol. I hope by summer's end I will be able to sit down, relax, and open Brand Of Justice! Good reviews on it so far!!!

Mr Rude's keen sense for detail has the reader immersed within the scene every step of the way..."Brand of Justice" is going to create a Brobdingnagian impact in the murder/mystery scene! The plot, one thinks at first is spelled out, until ah-ha! Nope, not what you'd expect...there it went and twisted and turned again. Between the completely enthralling storyline and the truth of the matter of things in law enforcement that no one else but Mr Rude has the guts to reveal, "Brand of Justice" is undeniably, hands-down a must read and you won't put it down til you're done!

Fiction? Reads like nonfiction, sorta scary! Cops like this are in the headlines more and more each day. Must read.

So turns out I'm very familiar with the Hicks case. For him to be portrayed as innocent in any way whatsoever makes this a work of fiction. The author should be ashamed of himself for trying to sensationalize a monster who murdered, and ended up admitting to it, a 3 year old little girl. The state of Montana stands by and protects his children, so to think Hicks got an unfair "brand of justice" for murdering a 3 year old is absurd. This is sickening.

Agree to Disagree
