Hemingway & Brand of Justice

A reader on Goodreads suggested I read 'A Farewell to Arms'. I am about half done and was struck by the anti-war theme of 1929. Interesting, after Ernest Hemingway beat his message home we marched off to more and more war.  
One wonders if Ernest would have read 'Brand of Justice' on his Kindle.
