The Judges are heard . . .

Judges Comments on 'The Passionate Jihadist'

There are a lot of really engrossing, full details that drive the story along. The opening vignette about Yushua and the rooster is indicative of this, and the way that bird imagery is interwoven throughout the narrative makes for a great unifying technique. Even metaphorical language is utilized effectively and visually: "The shame settled on him and lingered like mulberry stains on his fingertips" (6).

San Francisco

Talk about a great community to win an award in. Hung out with readers, authors and professions. Ran out of books which is a good thing. Let me know if you want a copy of my stories. Stunned & Seething includes The Last Gargoyle which has been a favorite of readers. The ending surprises everyone I've heard back from. Thanks for the interest.

William Kent Krueger

A big plus in this book writing / book selling racket is getting to hang-out with Cork O'Conner's creator. Boundary Waters is a great read. Do you want to know a secret? Bill told me he came about Cork's name because no matter how rough it gets, Cork keeps popping back up. We are both writers who are focused on crime, criminals and the dark side of things.

Never a Child

Ho could anyone not enjoy this story about war from a child's perspective?

Anything for Readers

Hello,

I’m a contributor on Medium, where I curate book recommendations for an engaged community of readers. I’m currently seeking new titles to feature in upcoming editorial pieces.

My approach highlights storytelling and the overall reader experience rather than traditional reviews. If you have a book you’d like considered, feel free to share the details or a press kit.

Best regards,

Ella

Yahoo Removes Me Again

We removed a comment from you on the article titled Kim Jong Un said North Korean troops chose 'self-detonation' to avoid capture by Ukraine.
The comment goes against our community guidelines. This means it’s not being shown to anyone but you.

All of this, because of this . . .

Their brain was dead long before the rest of their body. This is no way to be proud. Life should be honored. Kim must want his troops to do as he says and not has he does. Appears he's alive and well though he could lose a few pounds, in a land that has folks going without.

Available

Are you books still available on lulu or Amazon?

Yes, many sites are offering my stories, short, novels (3) and as audios. Amazon, Smashwords, whatever. Brand of Justice has perfect murders being committed. Everyone of my stories land on a social meaning. There ya go and be careful out there today. It's a nutty world. Just me, hanging out on the rim of the Grand Canyon.

Suffering

Incredible . . . how much death and carnage we have in this world of ours. This isn't just the obvious, how about issues like PTSD? Read my story, The Bee Killer. This following write-up was written after an organization explained just how 'on the mark' my story is.

Getting up close and personal with killing and dying is s life-changing. Demons arrive in the form of flashbacks, insomnia, anxiety, or depression. Mr Rude highlights the epic life and death struggle that ensues after a soldier's war experiences shake him to his core. His thoughts toss shade on him relentlessly. A highly listenable short story...long on meaning...to be considered a must-listen for lovers of fast-paced, insightful stories.

Many Thanks

I recently came across your work, and it truly sold me out.

Some books don’t struggle because of their writing they remain unseen simply because the right readers never cross their path at the right time.
As I reviewed your work, what stood out to me wasn’t only the story itself, but the emotional weight and intention behind it. There is a quiet strength in your writing the kind that invites reflection, lingers with the reader, and encourages thoughtful discussion long after the final page.
These are the stories readers don’t forget once they find them.

The Truth

I write towards the truth. I can say . . . "Been there and done that." I had already penned 'Brand of Justice' when Floyd was killed on the mean streets of America. Some find it hard to believe police could be the doers of wrong. Not me. I've been there. I've seen it, and of course another book is in the offing.

Shame

It's as if Putin has highjacked the World Mindset which is resulting in a paradigm shift. Death and destruction has become all to familiar. The real enemy lurches, things such as cancer. Shame really.

Germany

So I'm in Germany and am asked what the Trump Thing is all about. Then the German burst out laughing and said the Americans must be pulling a prank. Really. This happened.

The Truth

Now we have the Epstein deal coming to light. Michigan has a coach who trips over the truth. I mean it goes on and on. The truth has disappeared with the Passenger Pigeon.

All Respected

At times I struggle but here's one opinion ya have to figure is heart felt . . .

What are Putin's sort comings? Who do you think is winning the war? These clowns in the eu will all be out in their next elections, if not sooner. No, the west is delusional, the usa peace plan is what the special military operation was all about.

Do I agree? You be the judge.
