PTSD?

Defense attorneys said Ortiz was improperly induced to make the confession and that it should not be considered. Defense attorney Joel Perez argued that Ortiz, a Navy veteran who had been deployed to Iraq, was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, had been suffering from insomnia, nightmares and headaches, and was medicated and had been drinking that night.

The worst advice my mother ever gave me was: Honesty is the best policy. It implied that other people are honest, which I've discovered, they're not.

I wanted to teach my children: Never be loyal to any employer beyond doing the best work possible during the time you're employed, because they won't be loyal to you. It's the hardest lesson for young people to learn. 

Final Advice

It was my privilege to sit down with a fine lady who was born between the Great Wars. She grew up on a dairy farm and saw to it that my patches were sewn on my uniform during my policing days. She has since passed. She said if she could do it over, she'd do it again, but more carefully. Tomorrow I'll share her second piece of advice.

 War is about as bad as it gets! Pain and Suffering. Did 'Cows, Pigs, War and Witches' have it figured out all along? Video Games do not come with any sense of feelings.

 Russian Citizens want to live in a safe environment. They want to avoid western style shoot 'em up and beat 'em with a hammer behavior. Paul Pelosi's attacker has validated some of what Putin stands for.

Another Undisputed Ruler

 Ya can almost see Kim Jong-un's eyes widen when he see's what Western Arms are all about. Can you imagine how paranoid he must get? None verbally he's screaming . . . "I got rockets and nukes and stuff so be careful. I'll use them to repress my people. No wait. I mean to get them blowen up. No wait. To protect them. So don't think my toys are as bad as Putin's.

Shade

Every story I penned tosses shade on hatred. No matter the reason. No matter the source. I wrote 'em and I stand by them. Now go out and toss some kindness on this big bad world.

War

So when is enough . . . enough? Afghanistan to the Ukraine and tomorrow never knows.
