Sincere Wish

I wished people would chill and study an issue before taking up a cause. As an author I am challenged with being objective and routinely consider an issue from a 360 perspective. As an author it was also gratifying seeing this photo. My book, Brand of Justice, in Time Square! Thanks Megan.

Think About It

"Who being loved is poor?" Do those who flounder into an early demise feel unloved? Does life become a wasteland of values? Does The Last Gargoyle make sense? So many questions await answers.

Oscar Wilde

Remarkable. Got to kinda hang with Oscar near Trinity College in Dublin. Referred to in Ireland as a hometown hero. Not so in life. He was denied the love he longed. Do you sometimes just stare at humanity and wonder why? "The Rainbow Allegiance" regards hatred that springs outta romantic same sex love. Click and Read

"I can resist everything except temptation."

War

Andrew Carnegie had it right all them years ago. He was into peace just before WW1 was launched. One picture. One reason why we have to strive for peace. Amen.

Frankfurt

So many issues with so little time and a desire to make it right. Bad things like bullying, PTSD, gay bashing and sexual assaults seem to be an international phenomenon. As a cop in a former life I seen this stuff. It's for real and my writing reflects this basic premise. Next question please.

Jet Lag

Watched football in the dead of the night. Europe is in its own time zone. Can anyone tell me why Verizon runs its commercial over and over again? A family confronts a father over his confusion on what cell plan to pickup.

Respect

Because you have a difference of opinion with someone does not mean you can't hear them out and respect them. For those who follow me, you know I do not believe in Hamas. This gentleman in Dublin, Ireland, was very passionate about his beliefs, because he seen what the British did to folks in Belfast. I don't think the two are that easily linked but there ya have it. It's okay to agree to disagree.

Fun Time

There is more to writing about the crazy side of humanity. I leave the murder and mayhem behind and head to the mountains. Find your mountain and read on. Click Here

William Kent Krueger

Got to hangout with Cork O'Connor. He got that nickname by-the-way because he never stays down. Many thanks for the support. My stories involve the real life side of things like how to commit the perfect murder . . . of which there are three in Brand of Justice. Ex-Cop here and I write like I mean it.

Should Get This

Surprised you had trouble downloading this yesterday. Let me know, if after you land, you have problems.

The Bee Killer

Hung out with returning soldiers and their families before this story was penned. War is one of the worse things to come out of humanity. Thanks for your service. Been notified and thanked for this effort. Very gratified you appreciated this story. This story is also available on Audible.

I Don't See It

Your comment on "Russian Oil Cargoes Head Away From India Amid Payment Issues" violates the community guidelines and has been rejected

Russia blunders from one challenge to another. This includes violating Poland's airspace, losing a vessel in the black sea and having to imprison its citizens in increasing numbers. Bet China purchased the oil for a bigtime discount. Must be getting hard for Putin to continue playing the denial game. He screwed up bigtime and his special little military operation is going to cost him, as we approach the end to this mess.

William Tucumseh Sherman said it best . . . War is hell. War is cruelty. There is no use trying to reform it. The crueler it is, the sooner it will be over. He should know. He was in his share of battles. Enough said? I wonder if this comment will be struck down for violating community standards. I've had my share but will not be dumbed down. I'm posting the censored comments on curtrude.blogspot.com if you're interested.

Not Hard at All

If something is causing Human Grief  the instigators have to be held accountable. This should be self evident, but yet we can see this isn't always the case. We have people who attend Universities and an elected official (IIhan Omar) who support people who have done horrible things. This should forever be a black mark on their souls. Death be not proud. Shame can visit anybody. Read 'The Last Gargoyle' or 'The Bee Killer' for perspectives on human suffering.

Oh C'mon Already

Once upon a time it wasn't 'honorable' to shoot unarmed men to say nothing of women and children. Respect for human life seems to have vanished sadly enough. I guess gun rhymes with fun for some. Pathetic to say the least.

It’s not the gun that supplies the hate

This is the feedback I received from the post above. True enough. It's not the gun that provides the hate, but a gun sure insures a high kill rate. This conclusion is readily apparent is it not?

The Bee Killer

The challenge I highlighted in 'The Bee Killer' looms. Many thanks for the praise for this book. Knock, thanks for reaching out. This story only happened after many hours were spent with soldiers who lived it. War. My agent indicated it is going to be available for free. My early warning I guess you could say. Read it and think and post comments here. Many Thanks.

Differences of Opinion

I've made my opinions available for consideration. Respect for others is a good place to start. Can't we hold on to this notion?

My Stories

I'm told my stories are hard on police officers. My brand of truth can't happen because then we're in trouble. I lived it and see it for what it is. Sometimes the truth hurts and we're all bleeding. With pain there can be a gain. Listen and learn and stand up for the truth please. I had to stop and play a note for peace with a man in Dingle, Ireland. We didn't agree on everything, but we agreed on Peace.

Next School Shooting

Sometimes it gets to the point of a Mass Denial. We all know it's coming but we don't know where or when. Ominous.
