It is my sincerest desire that other writers shy away from the Clint Eastwood, John Sanford kick ass cop stories. Police are now becoming increasingly militarized. The general public seems to want to believe that they're policed by officers who are keeping them safe from the 'meanies' out there. Well, that's so true. But just think, police officers are people, nobody is perfect, thus the police aren't perfect. You have to safeguard yourself during interactions with the police. It's that simple.
