Was in the Cities yesterday just before the latest police shooting. Since when has paranoia trumped respect for life?
Ethel Rohan, author of ‘Out of Dublin’ on Curt Rude's writing. "Overall, great writing style. Reminds me of Rushdie: internal, emotionally complicated, and dualistic. Delivered with a sensitivity and awareness that is underrated. In one word his work is Awesome!"

Apparently WHITE LIVES do not matter. Dallas cops murdered because they were trying to protect the BLACK LIVES MATTER protesters. Way to go kill the people protecting their right to fill the streets with hatred. I was in the public sector for 34 years and even in the 60's and 70's when this level of distrust filled this country with distrust in our police forces did police die in the line of duty.
ReplyDeleteIf we keep killing the People in Blue this country will go down the toilet in a short time. What next? Do we have to put Armed Forces in our cities to protect our COPS??????
Today I will keep my mind on those that serve and protect and those that will not go home at the end of their shift.
God Bless those that lost their lives yesterday.
I think it is time for sanity to take hold in this country of ours. All lives matter, no matter what! We need not point finger, there is plenty of finger pointing already. We need to get back to the basics of compassion, respect and love. We are one nation, we are being divided from within. We need to come together, somehow. It has been a very sad week for our country. Too many sad weeks lately...unfortunately.
