Ethel Rohan, author of ‘Out of Dublin’ on Curt Rude's writing. "Overall, great writing style. Reminds me of Rushdie: internal, emotionally complicated, and dualistic. Delivered with a sensitivity and awareness that is underrated. In one word his work is Awesome!" Check out my new site . . . www.curt-rude.com

Kind words from a New Jersey Reader!
One last post and then I'm going to go back to reading about the Beach case. I have this feeling that some rude awakening is going to blow your career out of the water. If those reviews are as good as I believe your current book, Brand of Justice, is going to be for me when I read it, I think going forward you will be on the coveted spot on NYT's bestseller soon. No pressure, no pressure, lol.

Inspiration for 'Rude Awaking'
I was having an exchange with 'maybesomeday' who mentioned the "Rude Awakening' comment. I loved it. A creative mind out of the NY/NJ area. Many thanks.
maybesomeday April 15, 2014 at 11:49am That must have been why my ear's were ringing yesterday! lol. I'm not a member of Goodreads, but I will most definitely check that out and friend you. I too informed all my facebook friends yesterday to check out your blog and to look for your new book. If I had paid attention to your name when I wrote my comment, I'm afraid my two words wouldn't have been organic. Imagine if that happened? It really is brilliant, now that I look back at it! I'm so glad that you've chosen to use your talent's for the greater good, the unspoken words for those locked away that are innocent. It's such a new area of justice/injustice and we are only beginning to realize the magnitude of it. There was a saying I heard many years ago. That 90% of people convicted were guilty. |

Latest Goodreads Review
This book blew me away (no pun intended)!! It was so different from anything I've ever read before, and the last 1/3 of it kept me on the edge of my seat, unable to put it down, until I finished it!! Winning this book from Goodreads has had no bearing on my review whatsoever.
Four Daughters
This just in. Four Daughters Book Club gathering. I'll be there come hell or high water. Thanks for having me.

So what in the hell do seat belts, and the story . . . Brand of Justice have in common?
Hey . . . I put my heart and soul into this story. It had to be told. We all can benefit from equalizing the playing field when positions of authority spring into our life. We are all becoming aware of false arrests, police misconduct, scandals, overcharging and finally . . . false convictions. This story is available in many libraries, at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Book World. If you buckle up to stay physically safe . . . shouldn't you consider information to keep your liberties safe?

Los Angeles County Deputies accidentally shoot two . . . 'Police Perils'
Everyday, the headlines validate the many reasons why I wrote my stories. So sad . . . but 'Police Perils' are alive and well. It's an issue that can confront anyone of us. If these guys would have dashed out of the residence with hands up the outcome would have been different. Ya gotta feel for the dead and injured guys. Ya gotta feel for the deputies also. How'd you like to live with this on your conscious?
Deputies' accidental killing of aspiring TV producer 'very tragic'
