Police vs The Citizens & Why?

Woke up today and was relieved to see nothing notorious from the mean streets of America. I'd like to dig into causation regarding the matter of  'Death by Cop Syndrome'. Lets put our heads together and see whats up. Had an officer post on this blog before Ferguson which may lead to some insight into this matter. I'll invite all to post under comments. Remember its anonymous, so no need to worry over officers showing up at your doorstep and beating your 1st Amendment rights outta ya.

Noticed Moscow looked a little like Baltimore today. Putin can put on quite a display.

Shala my friends and remember 'Hands UP don't Shoot'.

What Killed Freddie Gray

In a nutshell, here goes my thoughts on Freddie Gray. He is arrested for nothing though the Supreme Court declared the establishment of probable cause if one makes eye contact and runs from cops. But wait a tick, a person has the right to resist a false arrest in this land of the free and brave. Now we have the cops jumping up and down because Freddie had an illegal knife.

Now for my assumptions . . .

  1. Freddie Gray was demonstrating his frustration with being picked up for nothing. Banging on the sides of the Paddy Wagon and what not.
  2. The Wagon makes an unlogged stop. Interesting. Leadership is present, a Lieutenant, Sergeant were involved. A female officer is present as well as three black officers. Looks like a person could wonder if the officers felt like Freddie needed an attitude adjustment.
  3. Then I hear of a spine 80% damaged. I suppose one could wonder if Freddie was slammed against the wall of the Paddy Wagon. I heard something about a bolt that was protruding from the side of the Wagon. So what do ya think? An accidental death?
  4. Police are suppose to enforce the law; not dish out punishments for infractions. I mean god help us if we have one branch of government which usurps authority and morphs into judge-jury and executioner.
  5. At this time I'm leaning toward the old saying "Power Corrupts and Absolute Power killed Freddie Gray". It was the old street justice crap and now you have cops looking for a technicality to get off. Sad . . . at one time cops always hated 'criminals' who got off on technical points of the law. Where's Dirty Harry when ya need him?
Enough said? I was called for Jury Duty. I contacted the Judge and said really? . . . There ain't a prosecutor in the land be comfortable with me in a courtroom. I know how it works. The Judge agreed and excused me. Just saying, the System of Injustice is alive and well though we are seeing cracks for the first time.

It is Good to be Sheriff Victor Hill of Gwinnett County, GA

Wow attitudes like this down right scary. He's charged by the way. Accountability is a hard thing to comprehend for some in positions of authority. I wonder if this woman who was shot in the stomach voted for this elected official to shot and protect her? Oh wait . . . I meant serve and protect her.

Minneapolis Officer Rod Webber & This Response & My Defense of WCCO

This blog is certainly 'out there' and I respect all opinions. I have to admit I don't like the tone of this message. I mean . . . you break a law and then get what the cops figure you got coming? In this case the kids didn't steal the car but Officer Webber threatens the kid with a felony assault? We still maintain our officers are our 'communities finest' right?

WCCO is in the business of reporting and news sources routinely attempt to get a comment from the other-side (Police) and mums the word. So isn't some news better than no news? I mean . . . I get it . . . the media is limited in their ability to get it right but nobodies making anyone watch it.

Score another one for Social Media . . . Positive Change is in the offing!

Again with one sided biased reporting. This "kid" has a long crimminal record and just two weeks later was arrested for stealing a car from a rental company at the airport, part of an ongoing scam. While making threats to a minor is not the right way to treat anyone, no matter how much of a scum bag they are, only tellnig half of the story puts WCC ZERO in the same category as the officer. If you want honest and unbiased reporting, read more than one web site. If you like your news falling over to the left and anti white, you came to the right place...

So how does The Urban Dictionary define me?

Okay . . . think about it for a second. Actions speak louder than words. I have discussed issues in law enforcement in my stories plain and simple. I want to be a part of the solution to the mess rolling across our country. So evidently the Urban Dictionary has me figured out. Go figure.

Love the story. It had me on edge until the last page was turned and then I read it again.

Loved the breezy style that Brand of Justice was written in. It also is the scariest book out there considering Ferguson LA and on and on. Hard hitting!!!

Women failing 'The Attitude Test' with their Protectors & My Round-table discussion from Last Night

#1 Lt Josey Smacks Woman Cops Thrilled

#2 You Never Seen This on CHIPS

#3 Michelle Jordan Cuffed and Driven into the Pavement

#4 Megan Sheehan's Face Planting

With #1 Lt Josey is cleared of any wrong doing after his Union successfully claimed he intended to punch a beer out of her hands and her face got in the way. Cops had flooded the Courtroom and loudly cheered on their leader . . . the good Lieutenant.

With #2 the Highway Patrol quickly settled with this woman to the tune of 1.5 Million. Enough said?

With #3 the LAPD quickly settled with this lady to the tune of $550,000. I would have held out for more by the way. I mean they cuffed her and then face planted her. Think the LAPD was feeling somewhat guilty for this stunt?

With #4 the brutal beasts feloniously assault Megan after she became mouthy. I guess a lack of respect should result in lost teeth and broken bones according to some who wear badges.

Last night I moderated a discussion regarding the 'Evolving Nature of Policing in America'. I noticed some who have not had daughters beaten by officers; still clinging to a shred of hope that all hope is not lost regarding those who protect them. Some even look for ways to defend their defenders! Here goes.

  1. Cops can only use the minimal amount of force necessary to overcome physical resistance.
  2. Cops can't deliver whup-ass when someone is being mouthy.
  3. We have viewed Criminal Assaults here. I mean . . . if ya don't believe me, plant a woman's face and see what happens (just kidding; you get the point).
  4. Just think, these are the guys who arrest folks for domestic assault. Serious case of hypocrisy here anyone?
Why is the Code of Silence enforced so stringently? In Megan's assault, why did the other officers remain silent when the false report was filed? They were there, they seen it. When asked this last night I said cops aren't as brave as you think, they want friends, they are a band of brothers who obviously go with the path of least resistance. If they informed on some of the 'street justice' & 'creative report writing' they experienced day-in-day-out I suppose they'd be concerned with finding themselves referred to as ex-law enforcement!

I'd hold out for a minimum of 5 million if I were Megan. Those brutal critters in no way want this going to a jury. That being said . . . juries believe everything men in uniform say. Don't believe me? Checkout The Innocence Project.

Sorry for the long post but I thought it important. Finally talk to your daughters for me.

Please say Something Positive about Sheriff Arpaio for my Birthday!

Well . . . I've accepted the challenge of saying something positive about Ol' Joe. He thumbed his nose initially at the 'Power Establishment'.

The following is my assessment of the man long before he tripped up on his ego.

2 of 5 stars

statusRead in March, 2014
formatHardcover
reviewGood for Joe Arpaio for wanting to kick some ass and send the bad guys away to nasty, taxpayer, saving jails. Joe was fighting drugs for 30 years in Turkey, Peru and Mexico but it would seem the fight was lost. I wonder how much that cost the taxpayers. Now we have youngsters who want to get messed up on Ecstasy and dance. Raves. Anyways, I get the feeling Joe would want to send them all to Tent City before he headed home to pound some brandy. I think there is a place for Arpaio, but we have to balance that with some realistic, insightful thinking. Portugal has decriminalized the use of Ecstasy and opened up centers that test the stuff for users. Ecstasy is harmless if it's what its billed to be. In America, we have tough sheriffs fighting the war on drugs and our fellow citizens continue to die. I am not a Molly user but I'm anti-bullshit. All this war on that and toss 'em in jail and throw the key away just gets kinda sickening to me. Lets get real. Lets cut the bullshit. The message here just seems to be too much bullshit. Enough said? (less)

Finally, a different viewpoint of Joe from one of his followers.

Joe is acting his age and still believes in the OLD way and has changed very little since he worked for the feds. I don't give a shit I like the guy, just like I LIKE YOU. I reached out to you so we could share the pains and suffering of working the streets.

Super Tick with Powassan Virus or Cops with an Attitude?

So riddle me this Batman . . . what would you rather face . . . a fast moving and potentially fatal virus or a beating from a Police Officer? Haven't heard of the Powassan Virus yet . . . oh you will.

Officer Woman Beater/Liar

Click for Latest Beating

A woman is savagely throttled by those who swore to serve and protect her. If you ain't running around with a badge this is felony assault based on substantial bodily injury; broken teeth and bones. Some of you always email me and say the cops are doing a difficult job . . . blah-blah-blah. If they can't do a difficult job without pulling this stunt get an easier job! The lyin' game started with the whole 'violently punching me so I guided her to the ground'. Tape shows you are a woman beater and a liar to boot. Why didn't the other cops do something? Is there something to the Code of Silence?

How they gonna cover this up? Big payout to woman and training and a couple of days off for Officer Woman Beater/Liar. I was a cop in a prior life and am stunned and seething. This is the kind of beating in my story Brand of Justice. Makes me wanna vomit.

If Officer Woman Beater/Liar should happen to read this . . . remember . . . we are not as impressed with you and your antics as you are. We know why you lied. To get out of a felony. How do you sleep? you Cretin.

Tell Me it Ain't so ol' Joe Arpaio

  • Check them stars out on the lapel. Did ya read his books and find a hero to keep ya safe from the boogieman? Is everyone of the law and not above it? If ol' Joe is guilty as charged will he lie to save his carcass? If he is found guilty is he like the rest of those criminals he loved to dump into Tent City and feed green bologna for breakfast, dinner and supper? Is he gonna wear pink boxers like the other criminals he dealt with? He's a professional and not a teenager caught with 420. But . . . not so fast . . . he could be guilty of a felony. Na, he has sense enough to claim the judges wife was Al Qaeda or something.
  • Like a wise old man once said . . . "When you start believing your own B.S. that's when you get in trouble. Them stars, national TV and books. Will I think you get it . . . don't you friends?

Robert Bates Shoots Eric Harris - Attitude as the Contributing Factor

We've been considering points of improvement in the Criminal Justice System. Consider this for a moment . . . Robert Bates is dumping cash on the police. He is not adequately trained and at least one Training Officer falsified records because he was afraid. Now the Sheriff and the Captain can't remember anything as they play politics to protect their own skin. Remember folks, this stuff is happening in a neighborhood near you. It's called being human and a uniform doesn't bury these tendencies.

COPBLOCK & Hail to The Truth!

Aida Guzman Okay, can't be said better than this. Lieutenant Josey punches a woman in the face; enough said? Assault is a crime; enough said? 'Oh the cop was just doing his job'. Next time your doing your job and a lady annoys you with silly-string punch her in the face and see what happens; enough said?

Beatriz Paez Okay, a US Deputy Marshal knocks a cell from a woman's hands; enough said? Nothing illegal about taping this; enough said? 'Oh, the cop was having a bad day'. Next time you're having a bad day damage some one else's property at work and see what happens; enough said?

Good-lord, I tell you, some of the emails I receive. I write two stories about this. I was a cop in a prior life but in the end, . . . it's about believing what your seeing. I don't need a weather man to tell me which way the wind is blowing. Some of you folks out there should stay tuned to the Weather Channel.

    Wednesday, April 22, 2015

Beatriz Paez has rights . . . or does she? US Deputy Marshal doesn't Think So!

California is strengthening laws to insure the legality of folks to record their public servants serving and protecting them. I'm thinking the officers out there don't want to be recorded doing their best to keep us all safe and happy in the land of the brave. Well Ms Paez is certainly brave. Many thanks. Oh, for you folks who love every cop ever blessed with a badge, don't worry, this Marshal will say he thought it was a weapon and he'll be set free to disrespect other women. If a citizen did this it would be criminal as in Criminal Damage to Property. Funny how that works. If it wasn't for cameras and social media this would have never been addressed. How did the Civil Rights workers prevail?

Just another Review of 'Brand of Justice'

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

Mr Rude's keen sense for detail has the reader immersed within the scene every step of the way..."Brand of Justice" is going to create a Brobdingnagian impact in the murder/mystery scene! The plot, one thinks at first is spelled out, until ah-ha! Nope, not what you'd expect...there it went and twisted and turned again. Between the completely enthralling storyline and the truth of the matter of things in law enforcement that no one else but Mr Rude has the guts to reveal, "Brand of Justice" is undeniably, hands-down a must read and you won't put it down til you're done!

Agreed . . . my stories are Fiction that read like Non-Fiction

This review from an Amazon top 10 Reviewer

The story, with its cataclysmic climax, was pretty extreme, but from reading newspaper headlines about corrupt cops, I know this kind of thing does happen in real life, perhaps not quite so dramatically, but it happens. Author Curt Rude has done a nice job of fictionally describing one "bad cop" scenario.

The Police keep selling More and More of my Stories!

Look, my stories are disturbing. I take you by the hand and lead you across the blue line to give you a peek at what they are really like. One Reviewer was so disturbed with the names of the officers in this story she renamed them to finish the book. Is the story plausible? Follow the headlines lately and you tell me. With each headline my books pick up interest. Thanks Officer Slager and on and on.
