And then it was uttered . . . Judge not least thee be Judged. Granted . . . this was uttered before hearing aids but how did we miss this? Just becasuse we're Americans does that mean . . .
Ethel Rohan, author of ‘Out of Dublin’ on Curt Rude's writing. "Overall, great writing style. Reminds me of Rushdie: internal, emotionally complicated, and dualistic. Delivered with a sensitivity and awareness that is underrated. In one word his work is Awesome!" Check out my new site . . . www.curt-rude.com

And so it goes . . . The Death of Innocence
Words like this in the good ol' Star Spangled Banner . . . thro' the perilous fight - rockets red glare - bombs bursting in air - war and battles confusion.
John Wakefield, a soldier on Americas' side shared his thoughts on the Battle of Bad Axe. "It was a horrid sight to witness little childern, wounded and suffering the most excruciating pain, although they were of the savage enemy, and the common enemy of the country." This comment came after the wholesale slaughter of old men, women and children as they fled their homeland across the Mississippi River. The good old Cowboy and Indian Days were really something.
Let there be no doubt . . . War is Hell and all involved have their own stories to tell. What does America look like under the 360 Prism? Are we perfect and on gods side all of the time? Look back at them lyrics of the Star Spangled Banner before answering.

Book Signing to a Great Read
I'm at a bookstore discussing my stories. A book on the shelf caught my eye. 38 Nooses by Scott W. Berg. Read it. It'll change the way you sing our national anthem. An American Soldier, John Wakefield, had this to say . . . "It was a horrid sight to witness little children, wounded and suffering the most excruciating pain, although they were of the savage enemy, and the common enemy of the country." This during the slaughter of Blackhawk and his band of followers. So we butcher and then name an NHL Team after the foe?

Ex-OKC Cop Daniel Holtzclaw Guilty of Raping Black Women (WATCH)
Dec 11, 15 by EurPublisher 6 Comments
*Daniel Holtzclaw, the former Oklahoma City cop who was on trial for raping and sexually victimizing black and low income women, was found guilty on Thursday.
It wasn’t a pretty scene as Holtzclaw broke down like a baby sobbing as the verdict was read aloud in the courtroom. He was convicted him on 18 counts involving eight of the 13 women who had accused him; the jury acquitted him on another 18 counts.

Kristin Bantle Innocent
Steamboat had an officer face trumped up charges regarding drugs. Man this stuff hits me hard. Easy to identify with Officer Kristin Bantle.
This from Brand of Justice . . .
He tried to
remember most of the stuff correctly. He might’ve forgotten something or added
some other stuff but it would be on account of an accident. He had done it.
Scott ‘Tinkey’ Tinkersley had righted wrongs.
Dub lumbered up to
Tinkey and stared wordlessly.
“So you hear? That prosecutor done gone and set
you up. They, the cops, have it figured Toppan did it. They got all kinds of
evidence . . . man. Knife was in the truck, Rogers blood on it, everything.
They call that a misprision of justice or something . . . Dub.”Thursday, December 3, 2015
Time to Figure It Out!
O.K. so how many fell in LA? We all are stained with the blood of little ones from Sandy Hook. Time to start writing. Lets figure this out!

LA Shooting
Active Shooting as I write this. Isn't about time we consider thee ol' 2nd Amendment?! This is spookier than ISIS. I'm mean it seems like it's everyday.
Laquan McDonald dead . . . Officer Jason Van Dyke charged . . . Fellow Officers & Union supporting Van Dyke
As per yesterdays post . . . there is anger, a certain angst all over the matter of the cop in Chicago assassinating the kid on the street. Strong feelings resonate over the matter for both sides. The cop and the black man. 'Assassination' is the word I choose to describe what I observed from the dash cam by the way.
The questions that boom from my thoughts are as follows.
The questions that boom from my thoughts are as follows.
- Why was the tape suppressed for a year? I'm not buying the on going investigation. Common sense applied here . . . what new leads were being followed after a year?
- Did any of the others who were on the scene to serve and protect take exception to this incident? How is shooting a guy 16 times warranted? Simply spontaneous gun fire? Over kill? or lets consider this . . . how is the use of deadly force even warranted in the first place?
- Why did the prosecutor file charges minutes before the video was released?
- Was Officer Jason Van Dyke allowed to remain on active duty during this year long investigation? If so . . . weren't we all possible victims of his implementation of authority?
- Is the Union and supporting officers seeing the same dash cam video the rest of us have seen?
Corruption is and
always has been imbedded into the fabric of governmental systems. When a simple
truth is revealed that might be construed as threatening, action is quickly
taken to silence the voice of truth. The status quo must be maintained. Words
are used to confuse and impede. The reins of power are held tightly in the
hands of a few privileged individuals.
As the old saying
goes, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. We are required to
confront our daily decisions with pride and determination, and we must see our
mistakes as life’s opportunities for learning. It is ignorance that binds evil
to goodness. When we hold others accountable for committing the wrongful acts,
then do those same things ourselves, we are hypocrites. It is, as it always
shall be.

Another Day Another Shooting
This from a guy who hails out of the Windy City. Thought provoking. Still one has to wonder why the officer who shot the man was on duty for a year until the dash cam video was forced to be released to the public and then, and only then, did the officer get charged. Did the other officers voice any concerns regarding the shooting? Was it an assassination?
Way to far for me to understand WHY. Watch the Video and learn what is on the front line.
Tearing lights of of Christ Trees and a Catholic Priest telling people to lay down in the center of Michigan Ave on Black Friday to stop traffic on one of the busiest shopping days. He is seen yelling Black lives Matter while holding back two things. There are more Black on Black shootings than White on Black shootings. There is a major Gang war going on in Chicago right now and all of these people are ignoring what is happening in there own communities so lets take it the streets and shout Kill the White Mother Fuckers.Monday, November 30, 2015
Trump isn't Afraid to Speak his Mind
This is me getting run over by another Republican. Anyways . . . the text in red was sent to me by a follower of this blog. To hear someone actually speak his mind is refreshing. It gets sickening watching everyone ducking the truth and running for cover. Not just politicians. I mean . . . Trump mentions people celebrating the Towers falling and gets lambasted. Love him or hate him, ya gotta appreciate his method of madness. Just think . . . some can't understand his popularity.
In Jersey City, within hours of two jetliners' plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river.

Drives ISIS
Drives ISIS. You must be kidding. History is just repeating itself. Tip: Why would these animals destroy ancient artifacts and cut off people heads? Instead of looking for the truth in modern times go read some books of the OLDE DAYS and I believe you will learn some truths.
The Young and Restless lead by rumors in social media spread by the believes of historic events and funded by easy money selling oil (blunder) from the areas they captured and bought by greedier forces looking for and easy profit. Trump is right bomb the shit out of their oilfields as the U.S. has lots of oil under ground and get that pipe line built across the country so we can sell our oil. Cut off the snakes head and the rest of its body will die. Remember the Gadsden flag, the defiant "Don't Tread on Me" symbol. Here is a response from the question I posted yesterday. I'm jumping on the opportunity of a lifetime and will be catching a flight out west tonight. Will post hopefully. Gotta keep a lid on identities and what not but am init to learn.

The Minneapolis Police Shooting
I'll keep it short and to the point. On the one side the cops appear to be ducking behind Data Practices by remaining unresponsive. People want to know if the guy was shot while handcuffed and what the identity of the officers are. I tend to believe police work for 'us' and should be transparent as soon as possible. Lets hope that is the case here.

Robbery vs Burglary
A man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after he robbed Ankeny’s Mini Mart No. 4 with a hunting knife Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a report of an active burglary at Ankeny’s, 902 12th St. SW, at about 8:45 a.m. just south of the fairgrounds, according to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger.
Stealing property from a building is Burglary. Stealing property from a person is Robbery. Can you imagine Jesse James pulling a Bank Burglary? This is why I took pains to point out at the end of Justice to regard stories in the media with an inquiring mind. This is an actual story in the newspaper today. Got to be a mix up on behave of the reporter. The Police Chief can't be this stupid but I guess all things are possible. Let me ponder the question received today regarding the police in Minneapolis.

Where are . . . 'The Whys' . . . with Terrorism?
This has been on my mind for sometime now of course. I've had breakfast with the Iranians. Dined in Rochester with the Wearer of The Hijab. I was asked repeatedly to respect their privacy. This summer I hunted for the 'Whys' in Detroit, where the largest number of Muslims live. Hung out with 'Moe' in Mankato. Been interesting. They are a paranoid bunch. Photos anyone? You gotta be kidding. Quiet insightful I must say. I am well aware some won't get it. I figure all opinions count in the quest to uncover nuggets of understanding. I believe I've nailed some truths. Time for another book.

A Verified Purchase Reader had this to say about my writing style. All points of view are very important, but if one is reviewing a book, I put more stock in the comments of those who have read the story.

Great To Know Minnesota has an Innocence Project.
Minneapolis Star Tribune
Roger Lee Olsen doesn’t talk much about what it was like to spend two years in the Stillwater prison labeled a child rapist.
“I was supposed to have been killed in there, that much I will tell you,” he said, his jaw trembling.
Olsen was freed in 2008 once Houston County investigators discovered evidence that led them to believe his accuser, a former stepdaughter, made up the story. But even back in society, his life remains in shambles. Still living in his hometown of La Crescent, he’s unemployable, and his mental and physical health have deteriorated. Worst of all, he said, no one — not the prosecutors, the police or the state of Minnesota — has ever said, “We’re sorry.”
Now, for the first time, the apology will come from taxpayers. Olsen is among three wrongfully imprisoned Minnesotans who will receive compensation under a new state law that makes him eligible for payment for the time lost behind bars and an array of other damages, like physical and psychological injury.

This just discussed me as a mother that someone could write a book like this and be able to look
at him self in the mirror...So sad for this little girls mother and family to have to continue going
through more heart brake over what this man did

Let it be said . . . 'Brand of Justice' was written to include all points of views and not to be
directed by hate and scorn.I can't in an any sense tackle this comment because I get the
notion you did not read the story. You live in Montana, what are your thoughts on
Barry Beach, Shawna? I stand by this story and would write it over and over again.
