Bonnie Bertrang fights City Hall!

Check out the cops and their antics you want a good laugh in Mondovi Wisconsin!

To answer your question from yesterday . . . I guess the story remains the same. Good ole' boys run amok. Experience vs Minimal Qualifications, which were tossed out during the selection process for Chief of Police. This from a good book JusThis . . . 'Corruption is and always has been imbedded into the fabric of governmental systems. When a simple truth is revealed that might be construed as threatening, action is quickly taken to silence the voice of truth. The status quo must be maintianed. Words are used to confuse and impede. The reins of power are held tightly in the hands of a few privileged individuals.' Think about it for a minute. The Mayor didn't play by the rules no matter how ya cut it.

The Male Canidate backed by the Mayor.

Smith has worked for the Mondovi Police Department since 1987, amassing a great deal of experience working with local residents on law enforcement tasks. He also serves as a reserve officer for the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department and was a member of the Mondovi Ambulance Service for eight years.
While Smith has completed training in various police-related subjects over the years and took classes toward a criminal justice degree back in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, degree work was never completed.
Committee members explained that current laws require police chiefs to hold a degree, a fact they said essentially excluded Smith from consideration.

The female Canidate

In short, Bertrang obtained her associate’s degree in criminal justice from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 2012, graduating with honors. Prior to joining the MPD force full-time in May 2013, Bertrang worked for the Eau Claire Police Department as a community service officer for about a decade, achieving the rank of senior community service officer.
Pittman clarified that Bertrang’s work for the ECPD was a civilian position concerning tasks like handling stray animals and writing parking tickets.
Bertrang’s application also contained a variety of recommendations from former officers and colleagues, including current ECPD chief Jerry Staniszewski, attesting to her strong leadership and interpersonal skills on the job.

This in the Land of free Speech

So George W. Bush orders 28 pages of a report to be withheld from the viewing public(us). Man, what gives here? Look I noted the who shady deal in my first story JusThis. The issue was addressed by Noam Chomsky when he observed that the media plays along with those in 'Power Positions'. He called it 'Implied Consent'.Whatever happened to The Freedom of Information Act after Nixon got fired up? I suspect it was trampled by a nasty bunch of attorneys. Just think . . . we have all been denied information in the land of free speech. Are you at all concerned?

The Obama administration is facing renewed pressure to release a top secret report that allegedly shows that Saudi Arabia directly helped to finance the September 11 attacks.

How could I say NO to St Paul?

In St Paul today for a private Meet and Greet. Good day for it, snowing and awful out there.
Hey thanks for the inspired request and the interest in this blog. We go where everyone is soon to be. Caught up with some followers of Islam and their thoughts from Mankato. We can agree to disagree but always respect one another.

The desert last week to snow and cold this week!

He's Back!

Well I'm back in Pigtown and no . . . I'm not interested in running for the Schoolboard again whether I'm needed or not. Many thanks for asking at the coffee today. What else? I've got to meet with an ex-soldier who had landed in a F.O.P. He had me swear up and down to never disclose his identity.

Yipee . . . Jury Duty

Here's how it works. You are required to fill out a Qualification Questionaire. Stuff like are ya a citizen, 18 yrs old, resident of the county, english speaker, disabilities, ever  conficted of a felony, served in last four years. As you can see, I've never committed a felony. I did get stopped once for touching the fog line but was just told to watchout. I wouldn't think that is a felony anyways. So I'm Jury eligible.

Praise be to This ISIS Warrior

This cuts to the center of the issue. I will blow myself up . . . no wait, I've changed my mind.

PARIS (Reuters) - Salah Abdeslam, the Paris attacks suspect who was arrested in Brussels last month, refused to blow himself up on the day of the attacks, his brother Mohamed told French news channel BFM TV.
Abdeslam, who will be extradited to France, has renewed an offer to cooperate with French authorities investigating the Nov. 13 attacks that killed 130 people, his lawyer said this week.
"There would have been more victims had I done it," Salah Abdeslam told his brother. "Luckily, I couldn't go through with it."

Oh Come On Man

Here's the link . . . so how can the 'System' be improved if our elected officials never owe us an explanation? It's the terrible deal of folks being 'above the law and not of it.' There you go. Now I have to head to this caustic environment and be a happy juror. Man oh man cut me some slack. Silver lining in every cloud. I'll surly keep you folks up to date on this.

Lost American Style

So it's up and at 'em. 90 degrees in the shade. Snakes, spiders and scorpions all over the trail. Onward to the Four Peaks and only snow in Arizona. We're totally lost in the out-back. Did find a spring; nearly ran out of gas with no Plan B, and picked up needed refreshments (Coors Light) from a group where "Red Necks' rule. Side note here, every plant in the place wants to make you bleed. I suppose I'll have to wait to donate blood until I recover.

Just Pissed

Yeah . . . that would be me in the green. Landed in Arizona. I'm training for my big mountain climbing deal in Colorado. I'm hanging out in Sedona climbing Bell Mountain. So me, the author of two pissed-off books about about Criminal Justice Reform is notified today that I'm to serve jury duty in May. The problem is, Arizona isn't in Minnesota. They threaten you with jail and high crimes and misdemeanors if ya don't show up. What do I do? Who knows? this story is unfolding as it developes.

By the way . . . The Prosecutor in that place is the infamous Kristin Nelson of Bill O'Reilly fame for plea bargianing a child abuse case. I know this, I know things, and they . . . 'The System' . . . want me on the Jury?

Stay Tuned.

Before the Bombs went Boom (ISIS & Abraham Lincoln)

Well now . . . everyone is talking about what this blog considered days before more had to die. Anonymous responded the other day, before the bombing in Brussels, that ISIS gathers together making it easy to bomb them. Now we're finding out they are sneaky. We do know some of them have been well trained by american advisors in the War On Terrorism. Then they became bad guys. We all know money is the root of all evil. ISIS has been funding its operations from the sale of oil. Any guesses on who is standing in line to purchase it? I bet they are getting it cheap. You think ISIS is purchasing medican and food for its people? Nope. Allah provides them kinds of things. Ya think the cash is purchasing items from arms dealers? I mean they are not suffering from a lack of weapons.

The Military Industrial Complex is hungry. It needs folks who require death before it can feast on taxpayer dollars. Beheadings and everything else you can think of sure has everyone clamoring for more tax dollars to address this problem. Oh think of the money for an expanding police state world wide to keep us safe. The black market well provide for the boogiemen keeping them armed and dangerous.

Abraham Lincoln had this to day. "Bless all the churches (mosques) and blest be God (Allah) who in this our great trial giveth us the churches (mosques)." I figure President Lincoln was focused on faith and thus took some liberties, as you can see.

I Ask . . . You Respond on ISIS

Well I asked and Anonymous Responded

AnonymousMarch 21, 2016 at 1:24 PM
They do collect a bunch of nut jobs from all over to make it easy to bomb them

Is this the only good thing they are about?

What is Good about ISIS?

Serious question here . . . help me out. There is some good in all things - right? That being said, what is actually good about ISIS?

Thoughts on going Batty & My Fears

U have to be crazy to put something like this on the blog. You afraid of anything?

The Only Thing I Fear is the Death of Truth and Folks obessed with Self-Preservation. I mean . . . part of the issue regards the mindset. How can anyone step back and allow a woman to be led to a ditch to be raped and murdered? I don't get it.

The question above regards yesterday's post and I recently was emailed the following link. What do you think? Like I said, you're invited to post on this site. Just click on the comments link below and go for it. Nobody will know who you are.

Have we gone Batty?

Muhammad - Jesus and the Rest of 'em Thought Life was Precious

So Televison Reporter Atwar does a live shot in Iraq after a mosque is bombed. Her mother was Shiite, dad Sunni. She took a brave stance against death threats. She felt somewhat safe in her hometown. Here is the jest of her last brodacast . . . "Whether you are Sunni or Shia, Arab or Kurd, there is no difference between Iraqis. We're united in fear for this nation."  Sunni Gun Men showed up after the story was aired and dragged her off after she screamed for help from a crowd around her. People were comfortable with not doing anything. She was raped and shot numeruos times before her body was rolled into a ditch.

So I'm having breakfast with some Iranians. Desperate times force desperate action. But what of life? I mean . . . killing unarmed women can't be right can it? Life is precious-right? Where do men come from that would pull this stunt?

You can let me know what ya think by clinking on the comment link and posting Anonymously. Nobody will ever know who you are. I promise.

RIP . . . You followed your heart.

Reading Indicators . . . We in A Mess

On the one hand ya have Sanders claiming the election is rigged. Then you have Trump proving it. The whole business about making the selection at the Convention. We you seen how Clinton obtained the support of the Super Delegates before this whole campaign got underway? That why Warren and the rest refused to even run? Just think . . . six out of the 10 riches communities surround Washington DC.

Anyone read 'Charley Wilson's War'? Talk about a ton of taxpayer dollars disappearing. How about 'Clinton Cash'? Reading seems to indicate we in a mess big time folks.

If you want to scare yourself, without hollering boo in the mirror, check this story out . . .

Cancer Sucks

OK
So the lady has cancer, big deal or is it. Having had cancer 4 times and lost body parts I am glad to say it has been 10 years almost 11 years since I had my last very large invasive surgery and I am still on this side of the curtain and able to get on with my life. It is not the very active normal life I lived before, but I have been able to do many of the things I enjoy and one is writing.
I have had a great ride in this world and have been mildly successful First book published, the second well on its way with several more in the planning stages. In the event some thing changes and the curtain closes, my kids and grand kids will be able to at least read parts on my presence during my life time.
So keep on keeping on and do not let those evil thoughts creep into the corners of your life, do not dwell on the negative WHAT IF"S, but on the positive WHAT IF'S. Believe me there are more positive things in your world than negative ones. just sit down and make that bucket list and get busy living.
Mike

I have to think respect and empathy plays in on this thing called life. You have battled cancer yourself and must realize what an awful process it is. Not only that, but this young lady finished her first book while in the grip of such a dreaded disease. I have had many conversations with her and hope I have been of service in some small way. I love the tone of your third paragraph, but then again, the power of positive thinking only goes so far. Marcie must have boat loads of it to have accomplished what she has.

Seeing is Believing

People who hit up my blog know where I stand on the issue of protestors. The point is, can't we agree to disagree and respect the other ...
