It appears the lawyers called out are infact guilty as charged so what gives? Check the list out and let me know if I missed any Accountability.

Goodreads 2-star Review on Joe Arpaio way back . . .

Look . . . I sensed an enormous ego run amok with Ol' Joe way back in March. Jeez I'm like reading this story about green bologna and Tent City and how much Sheriff Joe has drawn a line against crime. You do the crime you do the time. As I said at the library last night to a group . . . Sheriffs are never elected for their smarts . . . just their image. It works out until they start believing in their own bullshit as an old friend told me. Now old Joe is facing serious charges. Is he going to continue with his stance against crime and demand sometime in Tent City? This is just another example where this blog has landed it's readers way ahead of the pack.

Here's a piece of the Review.
In America, we have tough sheriffs fighting the war on drugs and our fellow citizens continue to die. I am not a Molly user but I'm anti-bullshit. All this war on that and toss 'em in jail and throw the key away just gets kinda sickening to me. Lets get real. Lets cut the bullshit. The message here just seems to be too much bullshit. Enough said?

Write On & Be Right . . . Today it's Criminal Justice Reform!

Man we're onto something with this Blog . . . Writing today what is going to be Right in the near future.

Dear Curt,

Did you see Anthony’s email, asking you to sign the ACLU’s petition asking the Senate to pass the Sentencing Reform and Corrections Act? It’s the most significant criminal justice reform legislation to be considered by Congress in the last five years.

Simple Thought for The Day from Hugh Lofting

Some people you will always have about you whom you can trust, and no man these days can boast of more than that. Remember them; forget the others.

Trump was onto Something; Cruz not so Much

When asked about a news story in the New York Times Trump pointed out . . . "they're always wrong". Chruz stated he was going to make the police our heros again or something to that affect.

This from Brand of Justice . . . The reporters were jumping up and down on how she’d done it. She’d made a simple bumpkin out to be a murderer and gone and went and got him the death penalty. They were saying she done it all to look good. If she didn’t have an accident with the dynamite she’d gotten away with it. It was plenty cold that night she was playing around with the stuff. That makes for unstable dynamite. She was no doubt, going to blow up another judge, so she could get her promotion. No doubt about it, she’d kill to be a judge. She’d killed Rogers already, what was another judge gonna matter any?

So wadda think? Did the reporters get it right? Comments on Cruz's misguided comments coming to a great blog soon!

I Respond to the Concerns of 'The Policed' after cop beats K9 Partner (Yesterdays Post)

He was charged with assaulting a public safety dog....they still could not bring there self to charge him with assault on a police officer as they would have you or me The County Attorney prefers charges. This man was charged and the system held hold him accountable in the end.

Exactly. ...I truly hate that these brainless, pathetic cops get paid with our tax money. We all must remember there are good to great cops out there. The profession is taking a beating now because of technology and the bad ones are going to be held accountable.

Not all cops are bad, I hope this officer not only gets convicted and does jail time, but loses his job too!!!!! The system never responds the way we wish it would. Did ya notice information is being withheld regarding other behaviors this cop was involved with in the night in question? The Data Practices Law came about because of Nixon abuses but lawyers have had much to much time circumventing it. We'll never know the entire story.

And that would be most of them. Look up Hammond Police Officer abusing his K9, NC Troopers torture dogs as a mater of policy, Sgt. Alan Cockfield on trial for killing his K9 Duke (but acquitted), and my website, www.stoplynching.com An important point here is you are involved and will be a part of the solution. too many watch police stories on TV and then land on juries only to believe what are being exposed as liars.

Ever Wonder why President Obama has called for Improving our Criminal Justice System during the State of The Union Address?

Frustration boiling over I tell ya. I feel the woman has great questions such as why the officials aren't saying anything about what unwanted advances mean. No worries, the system maintains the status quo, though it's getting harder. We were way ahead of the President in terms of needing improvements to the Crimianl Justice System . . . weren't we readers?

No Social Justice = Gun Violence

" NO "  Am. SOCIAL  JUSTICE  =
LOTs  MORE  GUN  KILLINGs !  !
1/4/16
If  America  had  social  justice ,  there  would  be  fewer  and
fewer   gun  killings  in  America . " Everyone "  in  Switzerland
has  guns .  BUT  Switzerland  has  social  justice  and  per
capita  very  few  gun  killings , etc ..                    M.C.S.

Just received this. So we are all on the same page here . . . so·cial jus·tice
noun
  1. justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society.

  2. The politicians are jumping on the income gap. I still have to believe gun violence is a case by case event.

And the Way we Go

One must consider all sources of info and be an independent thinker.

Format: Paperback
Know the true story of Mr Hicks before reading this. I refuse to feel bad for a child killer that feels the system did him wrong. He did wrong by this innocent child and took the lifetime of love and happiness that her family had to give.

Onward to the Summit

Opposite Reaction to the same Situation . . . I can't Sleep if I'm Surrounded by Great Books . . . Oh, by the way, my challendge for the upcoming year is to scale a mountain. Firts things first, I have to figure out what mountain. It'll probably not be Mount Everest.

I cannot sleep unless I am surrounded by books.

Fee Fie Foe Fum I smell the blood of an english man (Keith Nixon)

I was curious about Nixon and his frame of reference regarding yesterdays post. Here's what I found. I mean I guess I get it. Keith Nixon has been writing since he was a child. In fact some of his friends (& his wife) say he's never really grown up. Keith is currently gainfully employed in a senior sales role for a UK based high-tech company meaning he gets to use his one skill, talking too much. He's a salesman for a tech outfit who writes fictional accounts regarding police. I'ma ex-cop who attended and studied sex offenders at the FBI's National Academy. I chased down rapists and put them away. I lived it and write from my experiances. . .
Thanks for your time and interest President, oh sorry . . . Mr. Nixon!

One Star Review for JusThis

Keith Nixon rated it one star out of fivedid not like it
Charles ‘Badge’ Pullet is a policeman in the small town of Normal. All his life he’s wanted to be on the force and to wear the badge. But Badge has a problem, the Urge, which affects his judgement, drawing him into deeper predicaments even as he rises through the ranks.

The Urge impacts others around him, his wife, his Deputy, and the women he targets, among others. For a small town Normal has some large personalities from which nothing good can come.

This was a seriously disappointing novel, a strange mix of bland ‘thriller’, police procedure ,and trashy erotic novel, although I suspect the latter was unintended.
Ya gotta consider everything in life. I mean you have to be realistic . . . the old 'You can't please Everyone all of the Time so please Some of the Folks some of the Time' deal. Anyways, this review is from a reader who I got the feeling enjoys straight thrillers where there is a good guy who saves the world. That sort of thing. JusThis is, or at least was intended as a piece of Social Fiction . . . where I drew on  my personal experiences as having been a cop. If you like Thrillers checkout Clive Clussler or perhaps John Stanford. JusThis takes a shot at rape and its ugly ramifications and in no way can be considered an erotic novel in any sense of the word. To be sure . . . it's not a Harlequin Romance but it had to be told. One girl from Nebraska had an experiance with a cop and her feedback was worth a million one star reviews. Like I say, knowledge is our only hope my friends. Knowledge.

Whos Winning and Angst

Who's Winning? The Good Guy . . . The Bad Guy . . . no wait . . . who is the Good Guy? This relates to yesterdays post. No I can't claim to be loved and appreciated by all those I dealt with as a police officer. This post from YouTube is an example . . .

Ah yes, Curt Rude who was fired for possessing Oxycontin that he took from the police evidence room. He feels he should've gotten a break, yet insisted on handing out felonies for cannabis use every chance he got.  Now he's getting drunk.

Piece of shit.
Yes Billy B. I did arrest you for your marijuana growing operation. I was a cop and that's what cops do. They don't make the rules . . . they enforce them fairly. Yes I do like red wines. Whites are too sweet for me. Intoxicated? I have no idea whether I hit the .08 mark or not but am feeling drinking a red isn't illegal. Do you know something I don't? Finally . . . you're correct . . . I know first hand about False Arrests, Prosecutorial Misconduct and Wrongful Convictions. Fortunately I wasn't convicted, though I get the feeling you're not happy with that. I was terminated because I decided not to play the game any longer. Your mother was at my book signing and purchased JusThis. Read it . . . ya just might learn something.
At my home away from home. Man, I've been checked for explosives, patted down and x-rayed. Was caught with a knife (ouch). Anyways, keep up the good work TSA - we're depending on you.

How does it feel to be an ex-cop and once a part of the problem?

Always the first question at book signings. I was fortunate to have worked in another time and place. I mean . . . it wasn't the shoot first ask questions later deal. I always embraced the Community Based Model where you're a part of the community and not above it. In prior posts an officer called me out for being a part of the 'educated problem'. He was a veteran hell-bent on coming home every night and didn't shy away from the use of force. I made an attempt at educating him but ran into a wall. Then techology arrived and changed the game. I was saying all along it, technology, was going to be a game changer but he wouldn't have it. Pretty hard to say a guy was branishing a knife and threatening you when the video doesn't show it. 16 rounds later and a year under investigation until a judge demands the release of the video. The Chicago's Mayor is jumping up and down yammering on and on about change now. Anything to keep his job. Then we have Officer Slager pumping 8 rounds into the back of a man claiming they had fought over a taser. Once the video lands in the Station the investigators changed their tune. The guy shooting the video was afraid to go to the police. Can ya blame him? Community Based Policing is on the way back or at least we can only hope so. Remember . . . those who serve and protect you should be assertiveand not agressive.

Steve Avery & How Dustin Rowles got it Right!

This is what Dustin Rowles of PAJIBA had to say about Netflixs' "Making a Murder".

It's easy enough to do a Google search and ruin the ending, but the ending doesn't tell the real story, because the real story is about our messed up legal system and how it deprives the socioeconomically disadvantaged and the uneducated of the presumption of innocence

This is how I've been saying it for years. "False Arrest + Prosecutorial Misconduct =  Wrongful Convictions". You see . . . the Ego + Money = Lawyers. Then pit a Poor Person against the endless resources of taxes while being judged by a Jury who have watched endless hours of NCIC . . . BINGO . . . the death of innocence is certain.

Atlas Shrugged

Mr Bruce informed me it was a must read. Gotta say . . . best book I've read in 2015. Pig town was even in it. That doesn't happen every day.

C'mon Man . . . The Sheriff is in Trouble

I had this to say way back in 2014. Now Sheriff Arpaio is being called out for Racism and Contempt of Court. If guilty . . . does he end up in Tent City? Wasn't hard to see this coming. Ego Ego Ego.

Read in March, 2014
FormatHardcover (edit)
ReviewGood for Joe Arpaio for wanting to kick some ass and send the bad guys away to nasty, taxpayer, saving jails. Joe was fighting drugs for 30 years in Turkey, Peru and Mexico but it would seem the fight was lost. I wonder how much that cost the taxpayers. Now we have youngsters who want to get messed up on Ecstasy and dance. Raves. Anyways, I get the feeling Joe would want to send them all to Tent City before he headed home to pound some brandy. I think there is a place for Arpaio, but we have to balance that with some realistic, insightful thinking. Portugal has decriminalized the use of Ecstasy and opened up centers that test the stuff for users. Ecstasy is harmless if it's what its billed to be.
