One Sad Sad Day - Peace

As I bounced from one house to another the body count rose. I only just told this lady that our President was  on TV weeping. She hadn't heard of our weekly shooting yet. He said he wasn't speaking as our President, but as a parent. What great remarks from our leader. Before she answered the door I was staring towards Southgate Elementary and laughing, playing kids. Now as I bang this out a beautiful little girl is on the CBS Morning Show with a beaming smile that she well never flash again. Considered me dumbstruck, sick, full of angst but yet lost. Evil of this magnitude can't exist but yet we all know.
