We've all seen hockey players go at it. You know, beating each other with sticks and what not. How 'bout football. A player, Aqib Talib starts punching another player, Harry Douglas. Beating on someone is usually considered under assault statutes. Correct? In no way is fighting recognized as a part of the game. Boxing is about punching each other silly. I get that. So what gives here. How did assault become legal? Remember when Lenny Bruce commented that he went to a boxing match and a hockey game broke out?
Ethel Rohan, author of ‘Out of Dublin’ on Curt Rude's writing. "Overall, great writing style. Reminds me of Rushdie: internal, emotionally complicated, and dualistic. Delivered with a sensitivity and awareness that is underrated. In one word his work is Awesome!"
