Deputy Paul Urhahu is running around in a uniform while horrible things are tiptoeing out of his mouth. The mouth is run by a brain. So he has one and it must contain a whole lot of scorn. Ask yourself, how would you like to be a black person stopped by this officer? To think . . . there were some who thought 'Brand of Justice' was fiction. Like a deputy told me. "There ain't a thing about your books made-up!"

 Terrible. Daunte Wright lost his life. I get it. But officers have to take certain individuals into custody. End of story. In England bobbies are unarmed. Not sure what they'd do in this situation. Chase Mister Wright down and scream 'Stop! Your under an arrest. If you don't stop, I'll chase you again and holler stop, you're under an arrest.' But wait a tick. These officers couldn't let Daunte flee in a car because then everyone is in danger. Officer Potter made a terrible mistake here but I'd vote to acquit. Period. End of story. One good thing here is you have a realigned system eating it's own. At one time the Attorney General was always on the side of cops. Nauseating how attorneys play around in courtrooms acting all high and mighty though. 

One more Thought on Sheriff Hutchinson

So the Sheriff is going to be a stand-up guy and face the music. He is admitting to making a mistake and what not. How's it going to look when he stands up and says . . . 'l fire me.' Crazy times we live in. Good point is the State Trooper pursued this matter.

Just think . . .

about how many guilty people are left to wander around our neighborhoods. Writing for me is truly medicinal. As a former cop, I am haunted by the players in a system gone wrong.

NEW YORK (AP) — Author Alice Sebold publicly apologized Tuesday to the man who was exonerated last week in the 1981 rape that was the basis for her memoir “Lucky" and said she was struggling with the role she played “within a system that sent an innocent man to jail.”

Darrell Brooks anyone?

Too many lawyers and not enough common sense makes this sort of thing inevitable. Darrell Brooks is suddenly going to provide the attorneys in Wisconsin with one fine Christmas. Old joke goes like this . . . It was so cold in Wisconsin the attorneys had their hands in their own pockets. Ultimately the system failed Darrell. The system failed everyone but the attorneys. Show me the money! 

The horrific events in Waukesha – which left five dead and dozens injured – have prompted questions about how law enforcement might have failed to protect the Wisconsin town.
