Nothing too shocking for those of you who read The Last Gargoyle.
The body of a missing man was found inside a papier-mâché dinosaur statue in a suburb of Barcelona, Spanish police reported, according to BBC News.
Ethel Rohan, author of ‘Out of Dublin’ on Curt Rude's writing. "Overall, great writing style. Reminds me of Rushdie: internal, emotionally complicated, and dualistic. Delivered with a sensitivity and awareness that is underrated. In one word his work is Awesome!" Check out my new site . . . www.curt-rude.com

This guy delivers a spot on elevator pitch. I mean, you can score a decedent pillow for well below the sixty or so bucks that this guy sells his pillows for. I asked a man in sales how he does it. Near as he can figure, people buy the pillow and then feel stupid for being duped . . . so mums the word.
and now a Grandmother? Then we have to watch the officers laughing about it. Man our police officers have to learn to respect the body cam if they wanna rebuild their brand. I wrote two stories about officers and how power corrupts. I pointed out the need to respect technology. This from a former cop. Can't say any of this really surprises me.
Gotta wonder. John Sandford penned a ton of 'Prey' stories about the Dirty Harry kinda policing. Virgil Flowers and Lucas Davenport rolled around Minneapolis teaching bad guys a lesson. Then reality showed up. Now what's gonna happen? Perhaps have vigilante justice how up in the final 'Prey' story. Have demonstrators string Lucas and Virgil up.
Spent time in Montana last week and fell in love with a book. Isabel researched this incredible story and laid waste to the dark side. If the doers of evil could be compelled to be exposed to this material the world would be a better place. Of course you can lead a horse to water but ya can't make him drink.
C'mon Man . . . they got to arguing about bump stocks, back in Vegas, to curb the 'American as Targets' deal. Now along comes a pair, just in the last couple of days, with fast trigger fingers. They gonna outlaw index fingers next?
Mister Theroux details his experiences traveling across Africa. I mean this guy hung with the locals and came into close contact with predators. Let me tell ya this doesn't mean lions or hyenas. With experiences like this who needs boogiemen? I thought I had it rough in Nogales.
I'm like asked what I do for a living. I'm like, I wrestle words to get a story just right. I know, Right?
I've written three novels. Four short stories. Won contests. Been boycotted, had my life threatened and lost countless arguments with my editor. The infamous Robert Wangsness. Agents have loved my stuff and I was fortunate enough, to get to pick and choose one of 'em. I had youngsters want to watch me write to share the creative vibe. This is just a warm up by the way. I mean . . . When the Going gets Tough, the Tough get ta Writing. What's Next? Tomorrow never knows and I wish you a happy birthday if it's this weekend.
If you think ya got it bad with the pandemic, weather and whatever take a gander at this book. Many thanks to this lady who hails outta Seattle for putting these stories together.
How could any Defective . . . sorry . . . Detective do this?
